WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT?

*If a room becomes available before this time, we are happy to check guests in on a first-come first-serve basis. If we do not have a room available upon arrival we will pre-register the guest and store all luggage until a room becomes available.

*Late check-outs are limited but can be requested based on availability for an additional fee. Late check out availability cannot be guaranteed.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE AT HOTEL CONTESSA?

We offer valet parking for $42/night plus tax. This does include unlimited in and out access. For guests wishing to self-park, there are a very limited number of open-air lots and garages in the area, however these are not affiliated with the hotel. These off-site garages will charge per entry and exit, as well.

CAN I HAVE PACKAGES SHIPPED TO HOTEL CONTESSA?

Guests are welcome to send packages to the Hotel Contessa. We ask that all packages have the guest's name on them and the scheduled arrival date is coordinated with our front desk. Please ensure packages are scheduled to arrive prior to departure.

WHAT ARE HOTEL CONTESSA'S CANCELLATION & CREDIT CARD PRE-AUTHORIZATION POLICIES?

CANCELLATION POLICY
All current Reservations till March 31, 2021 must be canceled 24 hours prior to check-in (4pm local hotel time) to avoid a charge of 1 night(s) room and tax.
Reservations booked from April 1, 2021 and after must be cancelled 48 hours prior to check-in (4pm local hotel time) to avoid a charge of 1 night(s) room and tax.
Prepaid reservations are often non-cancelable and non-refundable. Reservations booked through third party vendors may only be canceled or modified through the third party and are subject to the cancellation policy of that party. The hotel may not modify or cancel any reservations made through a third party.

CREDIT CARD PRE-AUTHORIZATIONS AT CHECK-IN
We pre-authorize $75 per night for incidental charges. The authorizations are not charges, but they will show on your statement as “pending charges” and are not finalized until check out at which point all excess authorization is released. It typically takes 3-5 business days for the authorization to be removed from the account. We discourage the use of debit cards as funds pre-authorized on debit cards will make the funds inaccessible.
A valid credit card is required upon check-in. Reservations confirmed with an invalid credit card are subject to cancellation without notification.

IS HOTEL CONTESSA PET FRIENDLY?

The Hotel Contessa is a dog friendly property. We only accept dogs 40lbs or under (larger dogs may be accepted with approval from management). There is a non-refundable fee of $50 a night plus tax for each dog. For more detailed information on our pet policy please reach out to the front desk at 210-229-9222 for more details.

IS HOTEL CONTESSA ADA COMPLIANT?

Yes, we are proud to offer ADA-compliant suites and are happy to best accommodate all of our guests however we can.

Also, if you are visually impaired, we have a version of this site that is even more easily read by screen reading software.

DOES HOTEL CONTESSA HAVE A POOL?

Hotel Contessa has a rooftop pool that is kept at a relaxing 85-degrees throughout the year. Our pool deck also has a climate-controlled hot tub for your enjoyment. 

  • The pool and pool deck is open for family hours between 8am to 8pm and adults only (21+) from 8pm to 10pm.
  • No personal alcoholic beverages, smoking, or glassware is permitted inside the pool or pool deck area. 

DOES HOTEL CONTESSA HAVE A SPA?

The spa at Hotel Contessa is currently closed for enhancements. The spa is located on the Rooftop Level.

IS HOTEL CONTESSA ON THE RIVERWALK?

Hotel Contessa is the only 4-diamond all-suite hotel located directly on the River Walk! Check out all of the fun events and activities The Riverwalk has to offer, most of which are in walking distance of the hotel. Our fantastic restaurant, also offers patio seating right on The Riverwalk with beautiful views.

ARE THERE ADDITIONAL FEES?

Yes. Hotel Contessa's amenity fee is $7 per night covering a variety of services including high-speed wireless internet. Additionally, we have a $1.25 recovery fee.
