WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT?

Guest must be 21 years old to check-in.

Hotel Contessa does not offer early check-in. Check-in time is 4 PM CST.

Hotel Contessa does not offer late check-outs. Standard 11 AM CST check-out applies. Guests who are still in the room and/or have property in the room after 1 PM CST will be subject to a room charge of 1 nights room and tax.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE AT HOTEL CONTESSA?

Hotel Contessa only offers valet parking for an additional amount of $49 dollars plus tax. Rates include in-and-out privileges. Please note that our parking garage clearance does not allow for any oversized vehicles, duallies, toppers, or trailers. We offer day parking for $25 dollars plus tax.

CAN I HAVE PACKAGES SHIPPED TO HOTEL CONTESSA?

Guests are welcome to send packages to the Hotel Contessa. We ask that all packages have the guest's name on them and the scheduled arrival date is coordinated with our front desk. Please ensure packages are scheduled to arrive prior to departure.

WHAT ARE HOTEL CONTESSA'S CANCELLATION & CREDIT CARD PRE-AUTHORIZATION POLICIES?

CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours prior to check-in (4pm local hotel time) to avoid a charge of 1 night(s) room and tax. No-shows will be charged 1-night room and tax. Prepaid reservations are often non-cancelable and non-refundable. Reservations booked through third party vendors may only be canceled or modified through the third party and are subject to the cancellation policy of that party. The hotel may not modify or cancel any reservations made through a third party.

CREDIT CARD PRE-AUTHORIZATIONS AT CHECK-IN
We pre-authorize $75 per night for incidental charges. The authorizations are not charges, but they will show on your statement as “pending charges” and are not finalized until check out at which point all excess authorization is released. It typically takes 3-5 business days for the authorization to be removed from the account. We discourage the use of debit cards as funds pre-authorized on debit cards will make the funds inaccessible.
A valid credit card is required upon check-in. Reservations confirmed with an invalid credit card are subject to cancellation without notification.

Hotel Contessa, Ambler, and the Spa do not accept cash and do not carry change. For your convenience, there is an ATM located on level R.

DOES HOTEL CONTESSA HAS PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES?

Professional photography/videography is only allowed for contracted weddings taking place at the hotel. Hotel Contessa reserves the right to ask any photographer/videographer to cease documentation at any time, should their work compromise the enjoyment of our guest experience. Overnight hotel guests are welcome to take personal photographs or videos while enjoying their stay, so long as the images and videos are for personal, non-commercial purposes. All photographs and video must be taken with a hand-held camera (non-professional equipment). Overnight guests or the public can arrange professional photos for an additional fee by contacting sales@thehotelcontessa.com 

IS HOTEL CONTESSA DOG FRIENDLY?

We are a dog friendly hotel*. Our fee is $125 per stay per dog. There is a weight limit of 40lbs. Guests with dogs are only available on set floors and select room types. This is based on availability. If you are traveling with a dog contact the hotel directly. Yes, we are proud to offer ADA-compliant suites and are happy to best accommodate all of our guests however we can.

DOES HOTEL CONTESSA HAVE A POOL?

Hotel Contessa has a rooftop pool that is kept at a relaxing 85-degrees throughout the year. Our pool deck also has a climate-controlled hot tub for your enjoyment. 

  • The pool and pool deck is open for family hours between 8am to 10pm.
  • No personal alcoholic beverages, smoking, or glassware is permitted inside the pool or pool deck area. 
  • No coolers or outside food is allowed.
DOES HOTEL CONTESSA HAVE A SPA?

Yes, The Spa at Hotel Contessa is full service, open 7 days a week, and is located on the Rooftop Level.

IS HOTEL CONTESSA ON THE RIVERWALK?

Hotel Contessa is the only 4-diamond all-suite hotel located directly on the River Walk! Check out all of the fun events and activities The Riverwalk has to offer, most of which are in walking distance of the hotel. Our fantastic restaurant, also offers patio seating right on The Riverwalk with beautiful views.
