The Hotel Contessa places the health and safety of our guests and employees as our highest and most important business priority.
Latest Update: March 24, 2020
Dear valued guests of Hotel Contessa,
This is an unprecedented time in the hospitality industry around the globe as we continue to see the spread of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. Our team has taken all precautions and worked diligently to minimize the risk of our guests and employees. Out of an abundance of caution, and as part of our continued effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), Hotel Contessa and its amenities will be temporarily closed beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2020.
Our team is dedicated to upholding and ensuring a safe and healthy environment. We are actively monitoring COVID-19 updates from the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and will evolve our practices in accordance with the guidance provided by government officials and public health professionals. We will plan to resume our offerings as soon as it is safe to do so.
Currently, the hotel continues to accept reservations for overnight stays beginning on May 1, 2020. Our reservations team will be contacting guests with existing reservations through April 30, 2020. For guests who booked their stay through an online travel agent or other third-party booking professional, please contact them directly to inquire about cancellations and refunds.
We encourage you to share your favorite photo or story of a past visit and follow along with us through social media on Facebook and Instagram (@HotelContessa). In the spirit of ‘Be The Difference’, we encourage you to help make a difference in your local community during this incredible difficult time.
Please keep yourself safe and healthy as we all wait for this storm to pass. We appreciate the overwhelming support from guests like you who we have been fortunate enough to welcome to our property. I speak for the entire team at Hotel Contessa when I say we look forward to seeing you in San Antonio again soon.
