ABOUT CONTESSA CONVERSATIONS
Beyond the Suite.
Whether you have stayed at Hotel Contessa or just want to know more about our incredible city, our goal with this blog is to inform you about all things happening in beautiful San Antonio!
Although we sure do love to sing our own praises, we want to engage, inspire and hopefully start conversations. So for those of you who love to explore (or learn more about your favorite destination), dive in.
We also like conversations and we invite you to say hello often. We’re always here and open to hearing your comments (our comment box is actually an email and we promise a human at the hotel will respond). Suggestion Box.
San Antonio is a popular destination during spring because of its many family-friendly attractions and sights to see, especially in the heart of the city. Downtown San Antonio is home to the historic Alamo, as well as the San Antonio Missions National Historic Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, as well as a number of restaurants, museums and parks that are perfect for families looking to have a fun getaway that every member of the family can enjoy. At the center of the heart of downtown is, of course, San Antonio’s famous Riverwalk, is an all-suite hotel directly on the Riverwalk, perfectly positioned to provide access to the full range of attractions, and that is Hotel Contessa.
The hotel provides spacious suites with separate living room and bedroom, many with views of the river. The separate spaces allow for mom and dad to relax in the room, while the kids can use the living room (adjoining rooms also available). Hotel Contessa is walking distance from the Alamo, the Briscoe Western Art Museum, the Magik Theatre, Hemisfair Park, La Villita, and other affordable, must-see family-friendly attractions that will make a stay in San Antonio a perfect way to spend Spring Break.
Hotel Contessa’s Explore Riverwalk package, which includes tickets on a River Boat Tour and breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant, is a great way to get a taste of what the Alamo City has to offer.
